How to Capture Measurements

There are multiple methods to provide us with custom measurements.

  1. Measure your body (by yourself, with a friend, or go to a tailor)
  2. Clone your best fitting pair
  3. Send us your best fitting pair

To measure your body or clone your favorite pair, you will need a fabric measuring tape.  If you need one, we will send you one for free.

Measure Your Body

A few tips to measuring your body:

  • We recommend measuring in centimeters to avoid confusing your actual body measurements to typical fashion brand vanity sizing (i.e. your actual waist measurement is likely to be 2-5 inches bigger than the normal "size" you wear)
  • Don't wear bulky clothing or belts when taking the measurements
  • Measure each attribute twice to reduce measurement error
  • Use a mirror to help ensure placement of the tape measure is correct
  • All measurements can be taken by yourself, so you don't have to rely on a friend
  • Pinch your fingers at the Zero point on the tape measure to avoid adding extra length
  • Forgive us, there is no elegant way of describing some of these measurements

    1. Waist

    1. Run the measuring tape around your waist where you want the waistband to lie
    2. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor and at the top of the waistband
    3. Measuring tape should be snug against the body

      2. Low Hip
      1. Run the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and seat
      2. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor
      3. Measuring tape should be snug against the body

        3. Rise (this is the most difficult measurement to take)
